Owner Spotlight: Kenneth A. Puzycki

I’m Kenneth A. Puzycki, proud founder and owner of Law Office Of Kenneth A Puzycki, PLLC.

I look forward to sharing my story.  To keep you interested, I am keeping it short!  I hope that in reading it, you will get to know me better.

Five years after graduating from law school in 1991, and after working for two firms and a brief stint in commercial real estate, I started my own practice.  I decided early on to focus exclusively on estate planning and estate administration because I like to prevent confrontation, rather than engage in it. I want to help people avoid problems and confrontations and ensure that their estate-related issues are sorted out so that things are settled before they pass away.

Over the past couple of years, my practice has matured to the point where over 30% of my business comes from former clients coming back for reviews and changes.  To accommodate this, and the influx of new clients, I have hired two other attorneys, and two paralegals to help me, indicative of the upsurge in my business.

I enjoy every aspect of my work and find it satisfying. I feel the most rewarding part of what I do is when, after a death, or a medical emergency, or a tragedy, family members tell me that the planning we had done allowed them to take care of what was truly important, rather than the paperwork and red tape that other people have to deal with in emergency situations. My business philosophy entails doing the right thing and being honest and transparent with my clients right from the start, which is why we are a trustworthy firm with several loyal customers.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is the golden rule of generosity by which I live  - that we have all been put on this earth to help each other, in whatever way we are able. I have been told by several clients that I am not a “typical attorney.”  I hope that is a compliment?

I attribute my success to faith in God and His plan for my life. I believe that my perseverance and determination to help others, and the continuous support of my wife, have also contributed to my success.  

When I am not at work, you’ll find me fishing, skiing, putzing around the cottage, or fulfilling my dream of learning how to play chess.  Of course, I also enjoy spending time with my family and making new friends at church. Through my work and life, I strive to share the love of God through my actions and bringing others to Him.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
